On Thursday two Royal Air Force C-130J Hercules aircraft departed RAF Brize Norton as they flew on a formation sortie across the South West of England.
After departing Brize Norton and flying at low altitude in the vicinity of RAF Fairford, the pair then climbed to 2000 feet and practiced close-formation airdrop procedures.
