Hawaiian Airlines has introduced a special Airbus A330 livery to celebrate its membership in the oneworld alliance, becoming the latest member airline to operate an aircraft painted in the alliance's colors.

The aircraft retains Hawaiian's traditional Pualani tail artwork and maile lei fuselage design while adding the oneworld logo and the phrase "Aloha a puni ka honua," meaning "Aloha all around the world" in the Hawaiian language.

The airline unveiled the aircraft at its maintenance facility in Honolulu, where it also announced donations to two local organizations dedicated to preserving Hawaiian history and culture.

The new livery comes several months after Hawaiian formally joined oneworld following its acquisition by Alaska Air Group. The move gave Hawaiian access to the alliance's global network while allowing passengers to earn and redeem loyalty points across the group's member airlines.

The merger has also reshaped the future roles of the two carriers. Although Hawaiian continues to operate under its own brand, the Boeing 787-9 fleet originally ordered by the airline is now being assigned to Alaska Airlines, which will use the type to expand its long-haul international network.

With its Boeing 787s now assigned to Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian's long-haul fleet is centered on the Airbus A330. The airline operates 10 A330-300s, along with 18 Airbus A321neos and 19 Boeing 717s used mainly on inter-island routes. Hawaiian is one of the last operators of the 717.

Oneworld currently includes 16 member airlines, among them American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, Qantas and Qatar Airways. Hawaiian joined the alliance in 2026, ending nearly a century of operations outside the three major global airline alliances.
