Embraer has introduced the Phenom 300EV, an updated version of its Phenom 300 light business jet that combines increased range, new avionics and additional safety features. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2028.
The new model extends the aircraft's maximum range to 2,055 nautical miles (3,806 km) and increases its maximum zero-fuel weight, allowing approximately 430 lb (195 kg) of additional payload. The aircraft also receives lithium-ion batteries and LED taxi and landing lights.

One of the main additions is Garmin Emergency Autoland, which can automatically land the aircraft if the pilot becomes incapacitated. Embraer says the Phenom 300EV is the largest business jet equipped with the system. Other updates include a new Embraer-developed electronic controller, autobrake, and an expanded Garmin G3000 Prodigy Touch avionics suite with additional situational awareness and navigation capabilities.
The cabin also receives several upgrades, including compatibility with Gogo Galileo low-Earth-orbit satellite connectivity. Starlink will be available later through a supplemental type certificate. Embraer has also redesigned the refreshment center, improved cabin temperature control and introduced a vacuum lavatory.
The Phenom 300EV follows Embraer's recent approach of introducing incremental upgrades to existing aircraft rather than launching entirely new designs. Earlier this year, the company unveiled the Praetor 500E and Praetor 600E, updated versions of its super-midsize business jets featuring improvements in cabin technology, avionics and passenger comfort rather than a new airframe.
Embraer says the Phenom 300 family has led global deliveries in the light business jet segment for 14 consecutive years. That comparison refers to conventional twin-engine light jets. When single-engine business jets are included, the Cirrus Vision Jet (SF50) has recorded higher annual deliveries in recent years, although it competes in the very light jet category rather than directly against the Phenom 300.
