Embraer delivered 22 commercial aircraft in the third quarter of 2026, a 10% increase from the 20 jets handed over in the same period last year.

The Brazilian manufacturer released its delivery figures on Friday, reporting 66 aircraft across its Commercial Aviation, Executive Aviation and Defense & Security businesses, compared with 62 in the third quarter of 2025.

Commercial Aviation accounted for 22 aircraft, comprising 11 E175s, four E190-E2s and seven E195-E2s. The total was also 10% higher than in the second quarter, when Embraer delivered 20 commercial jets.

Aircraft delivered during the quarter went to customers including American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Mexicana, Virgin Australia, Azul, Airlink and Porter Airlines, according to aircraft fleet records.

The third-quarter performance continues a steady increase in Embraer's commercial deliveries. The manufacturer handed over 15 commercial jets in the third quarter of 2023, followed by 16 in 2024 and 20 in 2025.

The mix changed considerably from a year earlier. In the third quarter of 2025, Embraer delivered seven E175s and 13 E2-family aircraft. This year, E175 deliveries increased to 11, while the combined number of E190-E2s and E195-E2s fell to 11.

Executive Aviation stable at 41 jets

Executive Aviation delivered 41 business jets during the quarter, unchanged from both the third quarter of 2025 and the same period in 2024.

The figure contrasts with the rapid increase seen between 2023 and 2024. Embraer delivered 28 business jets in the third quarter of 2023 before the total rose to 41 a year later.

Embraer said the stable quarterly figure is a result of its production leveling program, which is intended to reduce the traditional concentration of business jet deliveries toward the end of the year.

The effect is more visible in the year-to-date figures. Executive Aviation delivered 115 aircraft in the first nine months of 2026, compared with 102 in the same period last year.

Three military aircraft complete quarterly total

Defense & Security added three aircraft to Embraer's third-quarter total: one C-390 Millennium military transport and two A-29 Super Tucano light attack and training aircraft.

The C-390 was the first aircraft delivered to Uzbekistan, which became the type's first operator in Central Asia. The two A-29s are associated with Paraguay's six-aircraft order, whose final deliveries were scheduled for the third quarter.

Including the military aircraft, Embraer delivered 66 aircraft during the quarter, up 6% from 62 a year earlier. Excluding Defense & Security, Commercial and Executive Aviation deliveries increased from 61 to 63 aircraft, or about 3%.

Commercial Aviation faces stronger fourth quarter

Through the first nine months of 2026, Embraer delivered 52 commercial aircraft, up 13% from 46 in the same period of 2025. Executive Aviation reached 115 deliveries, also 13% above the 102 business jets handed over a year earlier.

The company maintained its full-year guidance of 80 to 85 commercial aircraft and 160 to 170 executive jets. This means Commercial Aviation must deliver another 28 to 33 aircraft in the fourth quarter to reach its target range, while Executive Aviation needs between 45 and 55 business jets.

The required fourth-quarter volume is particularly significant for Commercial Aviation. Even the lower end of the guidance would require 28 deliveries, six more than in the third quarter. Executive Aviation, meanwhile, traditionally records its strongest delivery volume in the final months of the year, despite Embraer's efforts to reduce the concentration of deliveries in the second half.
