Airbus delivered 89 aircraft to 49 customers in June, confirming figures previously reported and lifting its first-half total for 2026 to 351 aircraft.

The June performance represents Airbus' strongest monthly delivery result of the year and its best first-half pace since 2019, helping the manufacturer recover from a slower start caused by supply chain disruptions, particularly delays in Pratt & Whitney GTF engine deliveries.

Single-aisle aircraft accounted for most of the month's deliveries. Airbus handed over 39 A321neos and 34 A320neos, while the A220 program contributed nine A220-300s. The widebody segment included six A350-900s and one A350-1000.

China Eastern Airlines was the largest recipient in June with six aircraft, followed by easyJet with five. IndiGo and Wizz Air each received four aircraft, while Emirates, Air Arabia, Delta Air Lines and VietJet each took delivery of three.

Airbus also recorded 71 gross orders during June

Airbus also booked 71 gross orders in June. The largest disclosed commitment came from SAS, which ordered 18 A330-900s, while Scoot added six A320neo family aircraft, including two A320neos and four A321neos.

The manufacturer also recorded 44 single-aisle orders from undisclosed customers, along with smaller commitments for Air Algérie, Airbus Defence and Space and a private customer.

Earlier this week, Reuters reported that Airbus has set an internal objective of delivering more than 900 aircraft this year, although the manufacturer continues to maintain its official guidance of about 870 deliveries for 2026. The company has not commented on the reported internal target.

Airbus ended June with cumulative orders for 26,331 aircraft and total deliveries of 17,109 since the company began commercial aircraft production. Its backlog remains close to 9,000 aircraft, providing several years of production across the A220, A320neo family, A330neo and A350 programs.
