Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced plans to acquire six Airbus A330-900s and eight Boeing 737 MAX 10s as part of a 20-aircraft fleet renewal program covering deliveries between 2027 and 2031.
The plan also includes six Boeing 737 MAX 8s, two of which have already been ordered while the remaining four are being incorporated into the carrier’s fleet plan.

The first aircraft, a 737 MAX 8, is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2027. The A330neo will enter the fleet from the first half of 2028 with a three-class layout featuring 30 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats and 237 economy seats.
According to the airline, the program will renew about 25% of its fleet and replace 60% of its long-haul aircraft. Aerolíneas Argentinas also plans to refurbish the cabins of its existing A330-200 fleet during the transition.

The carrier currently operates Boeing 737 MAX 8s on domestic and regional routes and Airbus A330-200s on long-haul services. The addition of the larger 737 MAX 10 will increase capacity within its narrowbody fleet while keeping fleet commonality with its existing MAX aircraft.
Under the previous Argentine administration, Aerolíneas Argentinas evaluated acquiring up to 12 Embraer E195-E2 regional jets, but the proposal was later abandoned before any aircraft were ordered.
