Aircraft lessor TrueNoord has delivered three factory-new Airbus A220-300 aircraft to Breeze Airways under a long-term sale-and-leaseback agreement, the company said.
The aircraft were handed over in February 2026 but the agreement was disclosed this week. The deliveries marks TrueNoord’s first Airbus aircraft and the largest type added to its portfolio so far.
The three jets were delivered on February 2, February 4 and February 19 and registered as N263BZ, N262BZ and N260BZ. All are configured with 125 seats and join Breeze’s growing A220 fleet.
With the new deliveries, Breeze Airways operates a fleet of 63 aircraft. The Airbus A220-300 accounts for the majority of the fleet, with 55 aircraft currently in service. The airline also operates eight Embraer E190 jets on shorter and lower-demand routes. Breeze previously operated six Embraer E195 aircraft, which have since been retired.

“These deliveries reflect TrueNoord’s disciplined approach to capital allocation, strengthening our portfolio with assets that support long-term financial resilience and operational efficiency for our partners,” said Paul Murphy, the company’s chief financial officer.
Breeze Airways launched operations in 2021 and focuses on nonstop flights between smaller and mid-sized cities in the United States that often lack direct connections. The airline currently serves more than 80 destinations in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
The company was founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, who has previously created several airlines including JetBlue Airways in the United States, Azul Linhas Aéreas in Brazil, WestJet in Canada and Morris Air, which was later acquired by Southwest Airlines.
