LATAM Airlines Group expects to expand its fleet to around 410 aircraft in 2026, as it continues a multi-year renewal and growth plan that has already placed it among the 12 largest airline fleets globally.

The group ended 2025 with 371 aircraft after taking delivery of 26 new jets during the year. For 2026, LATAM forecasts the addition of 41 aircraft, including the introduction of Embraer jets for the first time.

These aircraft are expected to support domestic operations in Brazil, adding flexibility in a market where the group already has a strong presence.

According to fleet data, LATAM currently operates about 370 aircraft across Airbus, Boeing and Embraer families. The narrowbody fleet includes Airbus A319 (39 aircraft), A320ceo (135) and A320neo (52), as well as A321ceo (49) and A321neo (18).

On the widebody side, the airline operates Boeing 767-300ER (29 aircraft), Boeing 777-300ER (10) and Boeing 787 Dreamliner family jets, including 10 787-8 and 28 787-9 aircraft. The group also has Embraer E195-E2 aircraft on order, marking its entry into a new regional fleet segment.

LATAM expects to continue expanding beyond 2026, with a further 27 aircraft planned for delivery in 2027, including the Airbus A321XLR, which is intended to support longer narrowbody routes.

Looking ahead to the end of the decade, the airline plans to incorporate more than 130 additional aircraft. By 2030, at least half of its fleet—around 200 aircraft—is expected to consist of newer-generation models, which offer lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions compared to earlier designs.
