Frontier Airlines will install SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet across its Airbus fleet under an agreement signed by Indigo Partners, the investment firm that controls the US carrier and several other low-cost airlines around the world.
The first Starlink-equipped Frontier aircraft is expected to enter service in early 2027. The airline said the system will provide internet access for passengers and gate-to-gate connectivity for pilots, cabin crews, maintenance teams and ground personnel.

The agreement also covers Wizz Air, Volaris, JetSMART and Cebu Pacific. Together, the five airlines expect to equip more than 1,000 aircraft with Starlink, making it one of the la

rgest commitments announced for the satellite internet service.
Frontier currently operates an all-Airbus fleet of 164 aircraft, including A320neo, A321neo, A320ceo and A321ceo models.
The announcement comes as Frontier continues expanding services beyond its traditional ultra-low-cost model. The airline recently introduced first-class seating and updated its loyalty program, although it has not said whether Starlink will be offered free of charge or as a paid option.
