Eve Air Mobility said it has completed 50 flights with its eVTOL prototype, but the aircraft has accumulated just over two hours of total flight time since its first sortie in December 2025.
The tests have been conducted at Embraer’s facility in Gavião Peixoto, in Brazil, where the aircraft has remained throughout the campaign. So far, there has been no indication that the prototype has flown beyond the immediate test area.
The aircraft in use is an uncrewed engineering prototype, focused on basic flight behavior and systems evaluation. The company said it is gradually increasing speed and collecting data on stability, control and energy use, with transition flights still pending.

The program remains at an earlier stage compared with some competitors. In March, Joby Aviation began flying an aircraft built for certification tests, with U.S. Federal Aviation Administration crews expected to take part in evaluation flights.
Vertical Aerospace, in turn, recently completed a piloted thrustborne transition with its full-scale eVTOL, demonstrating the shift from vertical to forward flight under real conditions.
