Emirates revealed a new UAE flag livery across the fuselage of its Airbus A380, registration A6-EVG, in Dubai. The airline said the livery is part of its 'This Flag Will Always Fly' campaign.

The special livery features a three-dimensional UAE flag design extending across both sides of the A380, building on the airline's tail motif. Emirates confirmed the aircraft has already operated to New York and Brisbane and will serve additional A380 routes. Plans are in place to apply the design to a Boeing 777.

"Since our inception, every Emirates aircraft has proudly carried the UAE flag wherever it flies. This new livery is our way of honouring a home that has given us so much, and a nation that stands as proof of what is possible when we collectively choose, every day, to reach higher," said Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO.

Emirates has previously introduced special liveries on its A380s for major national occasions. In 2017, the airline applied a decal of the late HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to its 100th A380, and also introduced liveries dedicated to Expo 2020 Dubai across 40 aircraft that year.

Emirates operates the world’s largest fleet of A380s, with 116 aircraft.
