Embraer's firm order backlog reached a record US$34.5 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2026, up 7% from the previous quarter and 16% from a year earlier, the Brazilian manufacturer said as the Farnborough Airshow came to a close.
Commercial Aviation accounted for US$15.1 billion of the total after Azorra ordered 15 E195-E2 aircraft. The deal took the E2 family above 500 firm orders. During the Farnborough Airshow, Embraer identified Fuji Dream Airlines as the customer behind two E175s previously listed as an undisclosed order. Those aircraft were already included in the backlog.

The figures do not yet include several agreements announced during the Farnborough Airshow, including commercial aircraft orders and defense deals that have yet to become effective.
Commercial Aviation received a boost from Azorra's order for 15 E195-E2s, pushing the E2 family beyond 500 firm orders. During the airshow, Embraer also disclosed that Fuji Dream Airlines was the previously undisclosed customer behind an order for two E175s. Those aircraft, however, had already been included in the backlog before the customer was identified.
Defense & Security reported the fastest annual growth, with its backlog increasing 42% after the United Arab Emirates ordered 10 KC-390 Millennium transport aircraft and secured options for 10 more.
The division's order book also excludes Slovakia's planned acquisition of three KC-390s because the contract has not yet become effective. Lithuania is no longer expected to sign in the near term after postponing its military transport aircraft procurement until the next decade while prioritizing upgrades to its C-27J Spartan fleet.

Embraer delivered 65 aircraft during the quarter, including 20 commercial jets and 45 business aircraft. First-half deliveries reached 109 aircraft, compared with 91 in the same period of 2025.
