Azorra has delivered its first ATR 42-600 turboprop to Dallas-based public charter operator JSX under a new lease agreement covering two aircraft. The aircraft, configured with 30 seats in a premium layout, was handed over to JSX in June 2026. This delivery is the third ATR 42-600 to join the JSX fleet, following previous deliveries from other lessors earlier in the year.

“We are pleased to welcome another ATR 42-600 to our fleet as we continue to expand our network and offer more options to our customers,” JSX CEO Alex Wilcox said in a statement. “The ATR’s performance and efficiency make it well suited for the unique airports and routes we serve.”

JSX introduced the ATR 42-600 to its network in January 2026, operating its first revenue flights on the Santa Monica–Las Vegas route. The carrier’s adoption of the Franco-Italian turboprop allows it to serve smaller and more challenging airports across the United States, expanding its public charter offering beyond routes previously operated by Embraer jets.

The ATR 42-600s are intended to complement JSX’s existing fleet, supporting the company’s semi-private model with features such as business-class legroom, power outlets, and onboard connectivity, subject to certification.

JSX operates from private terminals with streamlined ground procedures, targeting customers seeking alternatives to congested airport hubs. The addition of turboprops is expected to provide further flexibility in network planning and access to underserved markets.

In 2025, JSX signed a letter of intent with ATR at the Paris Air Show for up to 25 aircraft in a high-end interior configuration, indicating longer-term plans to expand its turboprop fleet.
