Condor plans to introduce Embraer E190 aircraft operated by Helvetic Airways on several European routes from Frankfurt starting in late April and May 2026.

According to AeroRoutes, the initial deployment will cover four routes, with services gradually added through mid-second quarter. Flights between Frankfurt and Zurich are scheduled to begin on April 30 with two daily frequencies, followed by London Gatwick from May 1 with two daily flights.

Additional routes include Milan Malpensa from May 10 with one daily service and Tbilisi from June 15, also with one daily frequency.

The aircraft will be operated under a wet-lease agreement, with Swiss regional carrier Helvetic Airways providing aircraft and crew. Helvetic is an established Embraer operator and already supplies capacity to Swiss International Air Lines under a similar arrangement.

Helvetic’s fleet includes 20 Embraer jets, comprising four E190, four E195, eight E190-E2 and four E195-E2 aircraft.

The use of E190 aircraft suggests Condor is targeting thinner European routes from Frankfurt, complementing its core network, which is primarily focused on long-haul leisure destinations.
